Core Values

The objectives of establishing a private Christian school are rooted in the Scriptural imperatives of Deuteronomy 6:5–7: “And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children.”

They are also grounded in Proverbs 22:6: “Train up a child in the way he should go.”

Teaching is training, and training for life must include preparation for eternity.

A Christian school serves as an extension of the Christian home, partnering with parents to train young people for both time and eternity within a Christ-centered environment. The school staff works closely with families to nurture the spiritual, academic, social, and physical development of each student.

Attendance at this school is a privilege, not a right. Our purpose is not to reform, but to train students of every ability according to the highest principles of Christian leadership, self-discipline, individual responsibility, personal integrity, and good citizenship.

This school stands unapologetically for the Gospel and for the highest standards of morality and Christian conduct. We endeavor to:

  • Teach that the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God, practical and essential for daily living (Proverbs 30:5–6; 2 Timothy 3:16; Job 23:12b).
  • Teach the application of biblical principles to every aspect of life.
Equip students to interact respectfully and graciously with both non-Christians and Christians who hold differing views.
  • Integrate biblical truth throughout all academic subjects.
  • Teach that God is the Creator and Sustainer of the universe and of humanity (Colossians 1:16–17).
  • Encourage students to apply themselves diligently to their work and faithfully fulfill their responsibilities (2 Timothy 2:15).
  • Develop the ability to work both independently and cooperatively.
  • Encourage students to think critically, develop personal convictions, and stand firm in those convictions despite outside pressures.
  • Cultivate creativity and develop each student's unique gifts and talents.
  • Foster an appreciation for the fine arts.
  • Develop effective communication skills.
  • Provide the knowledge and skills necessary for future education and vocational competence.
  • Promote healthy habits and wise choices in physical, mental, and recreational activities.
  • Instill an understanding and appreciation of America's heritage.
  • Prepare students to fulfill their civic responsibilities and serve as Christian citizens in their communities and nation.
